Setup Required: Create Your IndexNow Key

IndexNow requires you to verify ownership of your domain by hosting a key file. Follow these steps:

Generate a unique key
Create a key with 8-128 alphanumeric characters. You can use a UUID generator or click the button below.

Create a text file
Name the file exactly as your key with a .txt extension.

Add your key as content
The file should contain only your key, nothing else.

Upload to your domain root
Place the file at the root of your website so it's accessible at:

Verify and use
Visit the URL to confirm the file is accessible, then enter your key below.

IndexNow supports batch submissions of up to 10,000 URLs per request. Once you submit to one search engine, they share the information with all other IndexNow participants.
